Become a CASA
-
Thank you for your interest in becoming a certified CASA volunteer!
Our CINC (Children in Need of Care) Advocacy Program is certified by the Kansas Supreme Court. We match screened and trained volunteers called CASA's (Court Appointed Special Advocates) as advocates for children ages 0 to 18 involved in juvenile court due to allegations of abuse and/or neglect. The CASA is assigned to the case until court jurisdiction is terminated. The program is certified annually and must meet uniform state standards.

Become a Citizens Review Board (CRB) Member
-
This Supreme Court certified program screens, trains, and staffs volunteer boards who review Children in Need of Care cases in lieu of a formal judicial review. Every person involved in the case has the opportunity to provide information and share ideas in the informal CRB review setting. The Board makes recommendations to the persons involved in the case and to the judge. Absent any objections, the recommendations are incorporated into the court's orders.
