CASA Training Schedule
We have designed a self-directed training course to meet the needs of our volunteers’ busy lives. The training consists of: reading the National CASA training manual; attending an interview and a training class; court observation; individual time with a supervisor; and visiting a community service agency and writing a paper detailing the services offered. Please contact us if you’re interested in learning more about certification as a CASA volunteer—we’d love to have you join us!
Dates and times for September – December, 2011 are as follows:
SEPTEMBER: Saturday, September 10 – 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 13 – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
OCTOBER: Saturday, October 1 – 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 4 - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
NOVEMBER: Saturday, November 5 – 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, November 8 – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
DECEMBER: Saturday, December 3 – 8:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, December 6 – 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Lunch and snacks will be provided on Saturday. Snacks will be provided on Tuesday.
