Training for CASA of Shawnee County
CASA and CRB volunteers must participate in pre-service training as well as undergo reference and background checks in order to be certified. Volunteers are also required to participate in ongoing training to maintain their certification. Please visit the other pages in this section to learn about training specific to the program you're interested in volunteering with. If there are current trainings being offered in the community that may be of particular relevance to our volunteers, we will list them below.
